......ok......ok.....I'm finally gonna do it.

Sorry once again I'm so late but, better late than never.
I will make it up by doing three reviews this time.

First up is St. Petes Vent. Behind The Mask is fifteen songs of tight playing,
intricate passages with finesse or fury. Rocky Di Roma's guitar work is a welcome
breath of fresh air in a time when good solos are non-existent. Brian Law on drums
and Floyd Ramey on bass form a super tight rythem section. Vocalist/guitarist Wayne
Daniels goes for a lower vocal register staying away from high shreiks. His guitar is a
perfect foil to Rocky's playing.
My favorite tracks were:" Slapjar", "Rubberneck", "Liquid",
the instrumentals "Gallows Way" and "Dark Sky Light" are also highlights.
Any hard rock fan should give this a spin

Next is Sudden Death from Sarasota. Metallution is seven songs of pure power.
This cd isn't for the faint of heart. Sharing the vocals and guitars are Joe Hassett and
Beau Brackett. While Beau handles most of the vocals, Joe plays on most of the leads
Their two different vocal styles work well here. Corey McLain on drums and Bill Smith
on the bass keep everything from going completely out of control.
My Faves are: "Land of the Greed(green)" ,"Window Pane" ,"Doomed for Life"and
"Cage"

Last but not least is Honey from Tampa/Gainesville. Quickies is more of a farewell
for Honey since they broke up. But what the hell I loved this cd so I'm reviewing it.
If you don't like it don't read it.(roar). Unpolished and almost sloppy can describe this
release, but that's the thing about music. this is exactly the reason I love this cd.
Raw and full of emotion(ANGER) this packs a hell of a punch. Christa's vocals
sound like she means what she sings. Eddie's Guitar gave the band a metal edge.
And Cindy on bass with Michelle handling drums kept everything loose.
My faves are "Wanna Be Bad", "Give It Up", "Drunk Again", "Go to Hell"
they also cover the Bikini Kill song "Rebel Girl"
